Living The London Life

In England by Eller Student

Last Thursday I went to Bath, Windsor, and Stonehenge with some of the other students on the program. We took a bus to each of the places. Julie, Josi, and I had already been to Windsor castle, so while everyone one else went into Windsor castle we rented a row boat and rowed along the Tames. The river trip was amazing. Bath was really cool as well.  While there we walked around the city, and went on a tour of the ancient bath there. They gave us a glass of water from the ancient bath. It tasted pretty foul. Stonehenge was exactly how it looked in the movies.

This past weekend I went to the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park. I saw Calvin Harris, Nero, Drake, Rihanna, Flux Pavilion, knife party, and more famous Djs. The festival was amazing, but the weather was at times unbearable. The only thing I have not become completely accustomed to in London so far is the weather.

Two weekends ago we went on a day trip to Brighton. Brighton is a really neat city along the ocean. We went to an amusement park there, and eat fish and chips along the coast. The food was amazing, and we had a lot of fun on the roller coasters.
