The Bulls

In Spain by Eller Student

Now that my time in Barcelona is winding down, there are still many things I need to do before I leave. The past couple weeks have been very exciting, but there is still more to come. One highlight was our trip to Costa Brava. It was a very relaxing day with the rest of the Dream Careers group. In the town of Tossa De Mar we went to the beach and also visited a castle, which is located right on the water. I had never seen anything like this so it was good to experience a new attraction. Another highlight was my trip to Pamplona for the annual running of the bulls. I had no idea what to expect from this tradition. Upon arriving in Pamplona, we went right into the heart of the city to partake in the festivities before the opening run the next morning. My friends and I stayed up all night and made it to the run the next morning. Words cannot describe the atmosphere during this weeklong tradition.

Its sad to think that there is a week left here in Barcelona. This upcoming weekend I will be doing lots of site seeing and also attending Happyland music festival. I plan to spend as much time as I can with all the great people from this program. It has been a great learning experience and I have made tons of new friends.
