The Summer of a Lifetime

In Spain by Eller Student

One month has already passed since I have been in Spain, it is both exciting and depressing at the same time. I love this amazing city, but I also miss the USA. I have made it my duty to explore as much of the city as possible. Indulging yourself into a foreign culture in all aspects is one of the interesting tasks. One comes out with so many new experiences and stories.
I am a huge fan of the game of soccer, I had the privilege to visit Camp Nou (FC Barcelona Stadium). Soccer is king here, so it was awesome to see how much Barcelona takes pride in their sport. Our program went to the south of France for an overnight weekender. It was ridiculous how big the castle was. It was essentially its own town. I was hoping for better cuisine in France, but it was satisfying.
My goal is to try many different and unique restaurants here in Spain. Bareclona offers a wide variety of different cuisines. The weather has been amazing here, I love warm weather. The humidity has not been as bad as I initially thought it was going to be, it makes the beach that much better to visit daily. The mediterrean water is luke-warm and perfect.
Until the next blog, I will try and create more stories and lasting memories.
