Cheung Chau Island Adventure

In China by Eller Student

We recently embarked on a journey to an island called Cheung Chau with Dream Careers. We took a high-speed ferry to the island, which was a cool experience for me because I have never been on one of these before. Cheung Chau is a fishing village, and it was interesting to see all of the fishing boats anchored and docked up. As we walked around, we saw many booths and stands where various kinds of fish were being sold.

We then walked over to a hotel, and had a very nice Dim Sum lunch. Dim Sum is a very traditional meal eaten in Hong Kong. After the meal, we headed down to the beach and went in the water for awhile. I have not been to a beach in a long time, so it was nice to get in the warm water and hang out on the sand. We then left the beach and walked around the market for a while. While at the market, I tried pig tongue and chicken legs, which was a very interesting experience!
