My time in Barcelona has officially come to a close. I cannot believe how fast it all seemed to go but in reflection, I would like to reminisce a bit. I can now say that I have lived abroad. I have now worked abroad as well and learned new coding languages. In addition, I can say that I learned (partially) a new language and can communicate with others that speak it. I have experienced many of Gaudi’s major works of art first hand. I have been a participant in San Fermin and ran with the bulls! I have relaxed on Ibiza.
However most of what I take for granted now, as I sit in a hotel room alone in Madrid during my travels after, are the lasting connections and friendships that I have made this summer. This experience would have been completely different if even one person were to be absent. So to all of my dreamers, thank you for the bottom of my heart. Thank you for letting me grow close as we dove into a new and unfamiliar culture and thrived. This isn’t goodbye Barcelona, this is just see you later. Until next time stay vibrant, everlasting, and captivating. Vale vale!!!
