Hong Kong Internship Expectations

In China by Eller Student

Daniel Balesteri, Pre-Business

There’s less than a week left before I start my trip to Hong Kong and begin an experience of a lifetime. Before moving to Arizona for school, I grew up in a really rural area consisting of almost entirely farmland in southern Pennsylvania. Living in Hong Kong will be a welcome change seeing the modern marvels of the city while working hard in my internship at Passkit. I’m so excited to be able to experience the culture difference and am certainly going to take every single opportunity to see as much as I can.

I understand everyone in the city constitutes a really hard-working society and I’m happy I get to be a part of it. It might be difficult at first to figure out the commute to work and navigating the busy streets but it’ll come with time just by living there. I expect the food will provide an interesting aspect to the trip with trying to find the best local places to eat. Overall, I expect to be working hard and taking full advantage of this experience that’ll stick with me for the rest of my life.
